5th April 2020                                                                        Palm Sunday

Another week in lockdown with working & schooling from home. The “Big Call Round” has now completed and you should all have been called.

 Buckingham Parish Church remains closed for everything. There is lots of new content on the website. Please email or phone the relevant person for all enquiries. See “Useful contacts” at the end of this notice sheet.

Remember, the church is people and we are the Body of Christ and we all remain open for prayer, communication and support; the staff team are hard at work delivering their ministries in new and exciting ways. See on!

Services continue to be live-streamed & we are using the Summer Schedule.

Welcome to Buckingham Parish Church.

If you are new here, this section is for you!

Say hello by sending us an email & fill in a Welcome Card if you would like to become more involved. Have a look through our website

Children: We have always had great provision for children & we are creating new services for our new virtual world; eg, see pyjama prayers on our website.

Streaming: We are maintaining our streaming service & are aware that we may now be reaching a wider audience than we have in the past. The staff team are working hard to develop and evolve this service and would value constructive feed back from both our congregation and any who are now tuning into Buckingham Parish Church, and then moving onto our website.
Sermons: are recorded and available for later viewing. Access may be restricted and if you encounter problems please email

Today’s Collect

Almighty and everlasting God,

who in your tender love towards the human race

sent your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ to take upon him our flesh

and to suffer death upon the cross:

grant that we may follow the example of his patience and humility,

and also be made partakers of his resurrection;

through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
