Community Lunch

The Community Lunch is what people will tell you never exists - a free meal! Every Tuesday between Noon and 1.15pm we turn the Church into a restaurant and offer a full meal of Soup, a main and a pudding with tea or coffee thrown in - all totally free. We do ask for donations towards the cost from those that can afford it.

We usually welcome around 60-70 people every week from across all ages and it is a wonderful time to meet new people and for those who may struggle with loneliness to be amongst others. We even have a minibus that taxis people to lunch.

There is a wonderful team of volunteers in the kitchen (more always welcome!) and you will be guaranteed a very warm welcome.

The Coffee Service

Every Saturday morning, 10:30-12:30
Come and enjoy a free cup of coffee on a Saturday morning at the church. A perfect break and chance to relax in the midst of a hectic weekend, so do drop by for a friendly face and the best cuppa in Buckingham!

The Alpha Course

We run these very regularly
The Alpha Course is an introduction to the Christian faith. If you're exploring for answers about life and what it means, or have questions about what it is Christians believe, the Alpha Course is for you! It is very informal and includes a delicious meal!

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at BP Church for our Sunday Services starting at 9am, 11am or 6pm. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team who will be wearing a Welcome lanyard.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits before the services begin. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

The kids group activities vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, bible stories, testimonies, praying, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play. Please pick your children up as soon as the service finishes.

Getting Connected

Connect Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Connect Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.
