UBSThe Union Biblical Seminary is unique in the sense that it represents evangelical Christians from almost all the major Indian ethnic, linguistic and cultural groups as well as from other countries. The dynamic principle of ‘unity in diversity’ finds expression in everyday experience based on the solid foundation of the person of Jesus Christ, to whom every member of the UBS family is committed.

Mosaic Middle EastMosaic Middle East is a Christian charity focused on bringing hope, help and healing to vulnerable and persecuted minorities in the Middle East. It supports and empowers those who were impacted by the invasion of Iraq by ISIS back in 2014.

For example, in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq we support the work of St. George's Church, led by Rev'd Canon Faez Jirjees MBE. The Church, its medical clinic, kindergarten and primary school is available to everyone regardless of religion. St. George's comes under the auspices of the Anglican Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf. Mosaic Middle East contributes towards the relief payments for families who are particularly disadvantaged and displaced, including those with serious disabilities. Our major funding pays for the operation of the medical clinic that treated about 19K people in 2021.  The latest update from St George can be read here. To read the latest letter from Mosaic Middle East please click HERE.

Open Doors supports persecuted Christians with Bibles, Christian materials, training, livelihood skills, advocacy - and in a whole host of other ways - so that they know they are not forgotten and can stand strong to serve their communities. So that they can give life.  The Charity seeks to mobilise the church in the UK & Ireland not only to serve Christians living under religious persecution but also to learn from them what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.

EmmaEmma Elias

Emma is one of our mission partners serving the Lord through creativity, currently in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and within the UK. Her main focus is on helping to support local teams within churches and organisations by helping to equip and teach them to reach out to their local communities through creativity. The Lord is using creativity in lots of different ways to bring healing and hope to people, often overseas those traumatised by events in recent years. She is also involved in prayer ministry, teaching and mentoring and is part of the Ellel Ministries team from time to time. If you would like more information on creativity including how to support please visit the website: createdcreative.co.uk or email Emma at emmacottrell@yahoo.com.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at BP Church for our Sunday Services starting at 9am, 11am or 6pm. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team who will be wearing a Welcome lanyard.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits before the services begin. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

Getting Connected

Connect Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Connect Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.

Serving and Volunteering

If you want to get involved in the life of the church and help us make Sundays run smoothly, you can sign up to serve on a team.
