Your Weekly Video Update

11 December 2025

On Sunday the 11am is our Crib Service so invite any friends with primary-aged kids along and dress as a character from the nativity (there are some spare costumes at church on a first-come, first-served basis).

The 6pm is Contemporary Carols so please do invite people to come and do dress festively.  We will be serving mulled wine and minced pies afterwards.

Next up though is the Buckingham Christmas Parade this Saturday.  Last call for anybody who wants to join the float!  If you would like to dress up and be one of the characters from the story, come to the church at 8.45 where we will be distributing costumes. If you want to walk with us handing out leaflets come to Chandos Road at 9.30.  Please contact Alex Morten if you want to take part (alexmorten93@gmail.com). If you are supporting from the crowd do keep a look out for us, we are NUMBER 12.

Get into the Christmas Spirit with some Carol Singing, on 18th and 20th December.  No special singing skills required.  Please click here for further details.

If you can sing and would like to join the choir for Nine Lessons and Carols (6pm 21st December) do come to the Buckingham Choral Society rehearsal at St Bernadine's Church on Tuesday 16th December at 7.30pm.  It would be great to gather a really big choir!  Any questions email Andrew Gibson operations@bpchurch.uk.

We need lots of volunteers to help at our various Christmas Services.  There is a sign up sheet at the back of Church, or you can follow this link.  Please feel free to take some of our Christmas Services leaflets away with you to give to friends and neighbours.

If you would like to assist with the Christingle Making, do please come along to Church on Tuesday 23rd December from 10am.

Don't forget to book your Christingle tickets here - they are 'selling' out fast!

And finally, we are planning a fantastic, fun-filled New Year's Eve Party to welcome in 2026. This will be an extravaganza for all the church family - Quiz, Bingo, Games, Music, Karaoke (if time), plus lots more, even your own suggestions (please send them in!), and a little something sparkly and spectacular at midnight!  Further information and sign up is here.

Have a great rest of the week,
Will

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at BP Church for our Sunday Services starting at 9am, 11am or 6pm. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team who will be wearing a Welcome lanyard.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits before the services begin. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

What about my kids?

Click here for our kids programme.

The kids group activities vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, bible stories, testimonies, praying, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play. Please pick your children up as soon as the service finishes.

Getting Connected

Connect Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Connect Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.

Serving and Volunteering

If you want to get involved in the life of the church and help us make Sundays run smoothly, you can sign up to serve on a team.

Other Ministries

We also run the following ministries:
